K-Lite Codec Pack is a collection of
codecs and DirectShow filters. Those components are needed for encoding
and decoding various audio and video formats. This Codec Pack is

64-bit versions of Windows can run 32-bit software perfectly fine. So

That one contains better and faster decoders. You only need 64-bit
filters in you use a 64-bit player.
